Title The Sweep out of QAS by a Liquid with Viscous-Plastic Properties

Abstract The exploration of the sweep out of a gas by a liquid with anomalous properties was conducted. The analysis showed that the velocity of motijn the sweep out of during gas by a viscous-plastic fluid, also depends on the pressure corresponding to the beginning of the fluid animation. In this case the development time of the gas reservoir is extend, and pressure rebuild more effective when contour is not static.

Title Coliform bacteria as a tool for assessing water quality of Shatt Al-Arab River in southern Iraq

Abstract The total coliform count is widely used to assess drinking and swimming waters contamination in particular with pathogenic bacteria of intestinal origin. The common sources of coliform bacteria in the Shatt Al-Arab River include raw sewage, combined sewer overflows, effluents from wastewater treatment plants, industrial and agricultural sources, and urban run-off. In this study, total coliform bacteria were counted using multi-tube fermentation technique with lactose broth, eosine methylene-blue agar medium, and brilliant green bile broth. All samples taken from the Shatt Al-Arab River were positive for the appearance of coliform bacteria, although the count was variable from 4-399 MPN/100 ml. The highest percentage of coliform bacteria was found in the river samples obtained from the Basrah Center station. The results of current study indicate that all water samples of the studied stations were not suitable for drinking because of the high numbers of coliform bacteria. However, most of the water samples (90 %) obtained from the river can be used with good quality for bathing and swimming. These data have a significant impact on the local population who use the water of Shatt Al-Arab River for different purposes.

Title Determination of the Time of Carrying out of Partition Procedures in the Discard Line of Pipelines

Abstract When exploiting gas – liquid discard lines inside pipelines sediments are formed, which decrease or stop their flowing ability. When untimely carrying out purification works restore of flowing ability becomes difficult and sometimes impossible. Hence, it is necessary to carry out purification works as soon as considerable changes are revealed in the pipelines. Theory of catastrophes is offered to determine this time. Application of the method in 9 discard lines of "Bulla - deniz" OGES allowed to determine rational time for carrying out purification works allowing to restore normal flowing ability of the pipeline.

Title Performance analysis of the operation of the three-phase power relay RM3-TR113QN by approach based on mathematical morphology.

Abstract The RM3-TR113QN7 relay is a multifunction device designed to monitor the presence and direction of phase rotation in three-phase power, as well as overvoltage (U> Un) or under voltage (U< Un). The complete operation of this device is explained by the mathematical expressions of different cases of three-phase power supply occurring on a three-phase power supply. We used this relay to protect industrial power supplies on three phases (400 VAC three-phase 50Hz). The case study here is the AMATO-FRERES Company in Lubumbashi, DR Congo. In other scenarios, the device responds correctly, but there were three scenarios for which the relay did not detect faults, even the user manual does not specify them. This is relative to: 10% overvoltage on phase L1, simultaneous overvoltage of 10% on the L1 and L2 phases and simultaneous voltage of 10% on phases L2 and L3. That is why we made observations and calculations to take stock of this gap.
